A 20-unit apartment building in Hartford’s West End has sold for $1.35 million, according to Chozick Realty Inc., which brokered the deal.

The buyer was 26-30 Sherman Street LLC, which is controlled by Amjeed and Abdul Akbarzai, who list East Hartford business addressees.
The seller was 532 title way LLC, which is registered in the state of Delaware and took over the property in September from Fannie Mae, land records show. The building had been in foreclosure.
Chozick Realty said it represented both the seller — described as a lender/owner — and the buyer in the deal.
The property includes a mix of studios and three-bedroom units. Chozick said it received 21 offers during a 30-day marketing period, reflecting continued investor demand for multifamily housing in the area.As of this year, the property had an appraised value of nearly $1.1 million, property records show.
