Hartford-based accounting firm Whittlesey & Hadley P.C. is refreshing its brand with a name change.
The firm will now be called Whittlesey as it retains only the last name of its original founder, Willis Whittlesey Jr. Its subsidiary, the Technology Group, has been renamed Whittlesey Technology.
Whittlesey was the sixth largest accounting firm in Hartford Business Journal’s Oct. 2016 Book of Lists.
Over the past nine years, the firm has nearly doubled revenue and expanded to include three offices across Connecticut and Massachusetts with 160 employees, the company said.

The firm also has a new web address at www.WAdvising.com and a new tagline, Forward Advising.
