“Harco has grown significantly over the past decade but we have maintained a family-oriented atmosphere,” explains Lindsay Buonomano, human resources manager. “We really care about each employee and their family and we take great measures to keep employees connected to our goals and having fun along the way.”
2010 was a great year for Harco and the company is continuing that trend in 2011, she says. “Based on feedback from our employee satisfaction surveys, we introduced new training… In addition, we’ve been able to re-institute monetary rewards that we had to reduce in 2009. We’ve lifted the wage freeze and established a merit increase that is above the trend for our industry and area. Our employees are engaged, motivated and rewarded for great performance.”
