In full flower was Dani Babon of Bon Appetit, a Whitney Ave. charcuterie that specializes in cheeses, baked goods and gift baskets.

It was a little bit of a gamble when the Hamden Regional Chamber decided to incorporate its 15th annual Business & Community Expo within a larger shindig — Hamden Fest, which on June 1 drew some 10,000 visitors to Hamden Town Center Park.
Business exhibitors were unanimously approving of the switcheroo, and traffic was steady throughout an overcast but dry afternoon at the end of a week marked by downpours of nearly biblical proportions.

Said Chamber President Nancy Dudchik, “We need to gather together business, the arts, culture and community.”
And for one memorable afternoon, that’s exactly what they did.
