Diane Hannes has been named president and general manager of NBC Connecticut/WVIT and Telemundo Connecticut/WRDM, NBCUniversal’s local television stations that serve English and Spanish-speaking audiences throughout Connecticut.
Hannes previously worked as vice president of creative services at NBC 5/WMAQ and Telemundo Chicago/WSNS, where she’s led the marketing and promotions department for both stations. In her new role, Hannes will oversee all station operations including news, digital, sales, marketing/promotions, community affairs, and operations/technology.Â
