The New England Air Museum has received financial support from Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. to help fund the museum’s SOAR for Science outreach program for the students of the Windsor Locks Schools and to underwrite this year’s third annual Space Expo. The museum’s SOAR for Science program is entering its sixth year, currently serving eleven area school systems. The program helps improve students’ technical knowledge in compliance with the Connecticut Science Mastery Program as well as expose them to career opportunities in business and technology.
