‘Hamilton’ returns to The Bushnell after 2020 cancellation

The musical phenomenon “Hamilton” is returning to The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts Wednesday after a three-week run in December 2018.

There will be 24 shows between June 22 and July 10.

When it debuted at The Bushnell four years ago, the Tony Award-winning musical attracted more than 66,000 patrons, with some tickets selling for more than $1,000.

The Bushnell raked in $13 million from ticket sales and area merchants saw a boom in business.

The show was scheduled to return in December 2020 but was canceled due to the pandemic.
