Hamden sale paves way for Residence Inn

Stephen Press, SIOR, has announced the sale of a site at 2330 Whitney Ave. (rear), Hamden.

The transaction closed on Jan. 31 at $1,700,000. Press represented 2308 Whitney Avenue, LLC, the seller, and procured the buyer, Hamden Hospitality Inc. The site is under construction and upon completion will be a 127-room Residence Inn.

This was the last portion of a 5.5-acre property that was formerly occupied by Centerville Lumber Co. Press negotiated that sale in 2016.
