Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists, a doctors group with offices in Hamden, Wallingford and the Greater New Haven Area, said it has merged with the Branford-based Orthopaedic Group.
The deal brings TOG’s eight orthopedic specialists and three offices — Branford, North Haven and Milford — into the practice group. TOG’s founding doctors, Richard A. Bernstein, John F. Irving and Alan M. Reznik, will also open a fourth office in Hamden this month.
The combined entity will have more than 40 musculoskeletal specialists, 17 locations and walk-in centers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
It’s the third merger for COS this year. In August, COS merged with Shoreline Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Essex. And in April, the group merged with Milford’s OrthopedicHealth.
