Two new senior vice presidents with extensive technology and marketing backgrounds have landed at Waterbury regional lender Webster Bank.
David Hadd of Avon replaces Jackie Jamsheed as the bank’s director of continuous improvement and is based in its New Britain office; and David Verrone fills a newly created management slot in its treasury and payment solutions operation housed in Hartford.
Hadd most recently was vice president at American Express in New York. Previously, he was a vice president at the Strategic Initiatives and Technology Execution Performance Center at insurer Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. He once worked for Royal Bank of Scotland Group in Providence, and was director of medical management and technology at Cigna Corp. in Bloomfield.
Verrone last worked at Citizens Bank in Dedham, Mass., as a commercial marketing manager developing new customer acquisition and portfolio management initiatives. Before that, he was at Sovereign Bank in Boston and Providence for 10 years.
