Habitat for Humanity Receives People’s United Grant

Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity recently received a $10,000 grant from People’s United Community Foundation to help build one new home on Pliny Street in Hartford. The People’s United Community Foundation is committed to helping organizations that enhance the quality of life for residents, promote the economic development and well-being of neighborhoods and support the educational and developmental needs of children and youth, with special emphasis given to programs and services in low-income areas.
