Cigna Corp. turned beyond its corporate borders to tap David Guilmette to recruit large corporate health clients.
Guilmette, 48, leaves behind his role as managing director of the health and welfare practice for Towers Perrin/Towers Watson to join Cigna as president of its national accounts segment.
With Guilmette’s hiring, Cigna CEO David Cordani continues to put his stamp on the Philadelphia managed care giant that has major operations in Bloomfield.
Guilmette has more than 25 years of experience with health care and employee benefit programs, specializing in implementing health care strategies.
