A used machinery parts brokerage company will relocate from Watertown to a Guilford warehouse that recently sold for $1.4 million.
Soundview Group LLC of Guilford and principal Michael D. Cecchi sold the 16,800-square-foot warehouse at 393 Soundview Road to Westbrook-based JNP Properties and principal Joseph G. Wihbey Jr. in a deal recorded April 10.Â
The new owner will operate Global Machine Brokers out of the property. The company buys and sells used industrial manufacturing equipment.
The warehouse contains three loading docks, one drive-in door and mezzanine storage.
The property sits on 3.3 acres near Exit 59 off Interstate 95, has ample parking and contains an existing culture lab space.Â
The seller was represented by broker Frank Hird of Branford-based OR&L Commercial Properties. The buyer was represented by broker Ed Godin of Middlebury-based Godin Property Brokers LLC.
Plans for a three-story addition have already gained approval, but the new owners do not plan to build any additions, Godin said.
