The New York-based Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, which has piloted its financial literacy courses at three Connecticut community colleges, wants to expand the program to other schools, it announced.
Guardian said Capital Community College in Hartford, Gateway Community College in New Haven and Norwalk Community College in Norwalk have all offered the Guardian for-credit course, which it calls Money Management for Life.
The course covers such topics as insurance planning and saving for retirement and college.
