Grocery store-anchored retail plaza in Middletown listed with $19.7M asking price

A Middletown retail building that is home to a Market 32 grocery store has been listed for sale.

The 62,514-square-foot property, at 855 Washington St., was listed for sale this week with an asking price of $19.7 million, according to the listing, which is being handled by real estate services firm Horvath & Tremblay.

Market 32, which is owned by Northeast Grocery, debuted at the Middletown property in 2010 and has 10-plus years remaining on its lease, according to the listing. 

The property sits on a 5.32-acre lot with 250 parking spaces, according to the listing. It is currently owned by Galaxy Middletown LLC, which bought the property in 2009 for $5 million.
