Major Connecticut landlord Griffin Land LLC says it signed a five-year tenant to nearly two-thirds of a speculative warehouse facility under construction in Lehigh Valley, Pa.
The New York landlord that owns a number of Hartford area office and industrial parks and land parcels said the unidentified tenant will occupy about 196,000 of the estimated 280,000 square feet in its Lehigh Valley Tradeport II development. The tenant has an option, exercisable in the first six months of the lease, to occupy the entire building, Griffin said.
Completion and occupancy are set for mid-2015, Griffin said.
Griffin says it has local approvals to build a second building with about 250,000 square feet on its Lehigh Valley II parcel. Griffin also has built two other warehouse buildings in the Lehigh Valley corridor.Â
