Greenwich’s Catterton buys Detroit loyalty promoter

Greenwich private equity firm Catterton Partners has acquired ePrize, a Michigan provider of digital promotions and loyalty programs, The Detroit Free Press reports.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, freep.com reported Wednesday.

EPrize said its management team, led by CEO Matt Wise, will continue to lead the company.

EPrize was founded in Detroit in 1999 and has offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle.

Catterton more than $2.5 billion portfolio includes Restoration Hardware, Cheddar’s, Build-A-Bear Workshop and Kettle Foods.
