Greenwich Medical Spa has acquired MedSpa1064 in Glastonbury, the company announced Friday.
The acquisition of MedSpa1064 adds to Greenwich Medical Spa’s footprint in the state, including locations in Westport, Greenwich and Ridgefield. The company plans to open another spa in the Hartford area soon, it said.
Greenwich Medical Spa offers non-surgical facial treatments, medical-grade facials, injectables, body-contouring treatments, laser hair removal, men’s treatments and an acne clinic.
“This acquisition not only provides GMS with instant scale, it allows us to make a greater impact on the entire state of Connecticut,” said CEO Marria Pooya, who founded GMS.
Dr. Michael Janiszewski, owner and medical director of MedSpa1064, said the acquisition will provide workers with advanced training and offer patients new treatments, products and technology.
Greenwich Medical Spa plans to grow from four to seven locations in 2022, the company said. It also has a location in Scarsdale, N.Y., and plans to open one in New Jersey.
