The owners of a Greenwich furniture store have bought a retail building and an adjacent parcel in Stamford for $2.3 million and plan to open a second location there.
Trovare Home Design, owned by Pamela and Greg Frisoli, of Greenwich, bought the 5,280-square-foot building and adjoining 0.16-acre parcel at 533-541 Pacific St. on Friday, Pamela Frisoli said. The building is under the ownership of an affiliate of KLO Management, a commercial real estate investment firm owned by Greg Frisoli, her husband, that will lease the building to Trovare.
Pamela Frisoli said they bought the property because it is in an area of Stamford that is experiencing residential growth. The site is also near other home-furnishing businesses and includes off-street parking, she said.
“It’s situated in a perfect spot,” she said in an interview. “Being in the home business, you want to be near growth.”
Frisoli said the couple plans to open the second Trovare location in mid-March.
The building was built in 1910 and sits on a 0.11-acre parcel. The building and adjoining property have a total appraised value of $1.48 million and a total assessed value of $1.03 million.
The seller was 3 at Pacific LLC, controlled by Andres Hogg, of Greenwich. Hogg owns a
former firehouse at 670 Pacific St. occupied by a veterinary clinic.
In June, the Frisolis
sold a one-story, 17,598-square-foot retail building at 907 High Ridge Road for $5.58 million, where they previously operated The Collective furniture store.
In early November,
they bought a three-story office building in Fairfield for $5.2 million.
