A developer is proposing to replace Greenwich’s 66-unit Putnam Green apartment complex with a six-story building containing 176 apartments.
The town’s Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to discuss the proposal Tuesday, Sept. 29, in a pre-application review.
Putnam Green Holding LLC plans to demolish the existing buildings at 7 and 9 Western Junior Highway and combine the two lots into a 2.7-acre site. The proposal includes 200 parking spaces and calls for 30% of the apartments to meet affordability requirements under Connecticut’s Section 8-30g housing law.
The LLC’s managers are Stamford-based Michelle, Christopher and Mark DeFeo, according to state business records. The existing complex, built in 1976, sold for $20.7 million in June 2025.
