Greenwich-based building products distributor QXO Inc. has named Ken West president and chief operating officer, effective Sept. 1.
West will report to Chairman and CEO Brad Jacobs and oversee the company’s day-to-day operations.
QXO distributes and installs roofing, insulation, lumber and other building materials. The publicly traded company has been expanding through acquisitions and is targeting $50 billion in annual revenue within the next decade.
West joins QXO from Honeywell Technologies, where he most recently served as president and CEO of Honeywell Process Technology. During his eight years at Honeywell, he led several business segments and oversaw major acquisitions and integrations.
Previously, West spent 13 years at PPG Industries in operational, financial and corporate planning roles. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
