For the third year in a row, solar industry publication Solar Power World has ranked Middletown’s Greenskies Renewable Energy as the most prolific installer in Connecticut.
Greenskies installed nearly 48 megawatts worth of solar capacity in 2016, according to the ranking of 500 U.S. solar installers.
That was good enough for the 57th largest in the country. Greenskies installed 30 megawatts in 2015 and 23 megawatts in 2014, according to previous rankings.
In all, five Connecticut companies made this year’s list. The next closest to Greenskies was Danbury’s Ross Solar, which installed 3.2 megawatts last year, the ranking said.
