North Haven-based Greenskies Clean Energy announced Thursday it has appointed renewable energy finance veteran Darryl Tishler its chief financial officer, the latest in a series of changes to the company’s executive leadership team.
Tishler, who has more than 20 years of experience in finance, will oversee Greenskies’ financial strategy, capital markets activities and financial operations as the commercial solar developer expands its national business.
His appointment follows the hiring of CEO Vijay Singh and Chief Commercial Officer Dan O’Brien earlier this year.
Kevin Cassidy, who had served as CFO since 2023, died in April. He was 60. A spokesperson for Greenskies said Cassidy had been a “valued member of the Greenskies team” and that his death was “a difficult loss for all of us.”
Tishler has held several positions in the renewable energy, infrastructure and clean technology sectors. According to Greenskies, he has led more than 100 financings and acquisitions totaling more than $10 billion in transaction value across 40 countries.
Before joining Greenskies, Tishler served as CFO of Ionic Blue and held senior finance and investment positions with renewable energy companies CVE and Safari Energy.
Tishler earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Founded in 2009 and based in North Haven, Greenskies develops, builds, finances, owns and operates commercial solar projects. The company said it has developed and constructed more than 400 megawatts of solar capacity through more than 735 projects in 19 states.
