Greenbriar Equity Group acquires Newington aerospace manufacturer PCX Aerosystems

Wall Street firm Greenbriar Equity Group bought Newington aerospace manufacturer PCX Aerosystems, just as PCX completes its acquisition of Enfield-based manufacturer Senior Aerospace Connecticut (SAC).

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

“PCX has a long and successful track record supporting its industry leading customers with differentiated capabilities in complex mission critical components,” Greenbriar Director Noah Blitzer said.

When PCX in March announced it’s pending acquisition of SAC, the company — which makes parts for rotorcraft and fixed wing aerospace platforms — said the move would allow PCX to expand on its offerings for rotorhead and transmission components ‒ in which SAC specializes.

PCX CEO Jeff Frisby said Greenbriar acquiring the company will enable further growth.

“Greenbriar and management have a shared vision of accelerating PCX’s growth and expanding its capabilities to support our customers and we could not ask for a better partner to realize that vision,” Frisby said.
