Gran Gusto, a traditional Neapolitan style restaurant serving fresh pizza and pasta, opened in Blue Back Square in West Hartford earlier this week, the first location in Connecticut for the national brand.
Massachusetts-based Gran Gusto opened this week at 111 Memorial Road, in the former Rizzutto’s Restaurant & Bar location. Rizzuto’s permanently closed in April 2022, after first opening in Blue Back Square in April 2008.
Gran Gusto will be open six days a week for dinner, and Thursday through Sunday for lunch.
According to Gran Gusto, all of the restaurant’s dishes are made fresh daily in-house and more than 80% of their products are shipped from Italy every week. The family-owned restaurant chain first opened 16 years ago in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
