How does transportation impact economic and business growth in Connecticut?
That’s one of the many topics being covered at next month’s inaugural Transportation Showcase presented by the Hartford Business Journal and CTrides. New Haven Biz, HBJ’s sister publication, is also a partner in the event.
The morning event on Thursday, Nov. 7, will feature Gov. Ned Lamont as well as a panel discussion on transportation moderated by Dennis House, co-anchor of WFSB’s Eyewitness News.
The panelists include New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, Mark Ojakian, president of the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities, LuAnn Ballesteros, vice president of external and government affairs for Jackson Laboratory in Farmington, and Stephen M. Coan, president and CEO of Mystic Aquarium. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming days.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the offices of Jackson Laboratory For Genomic Medicine, 10 Discovery Dr., in Farmington.
