Goodwin College President Mark E. Scheinberg has been honored for his lifelong leadership in promoting peace, education and social enterprise.
Scheinberg received the International Legacy Honor Award from the Young Presidents’ Organization at its annual global leadership conference in Barcelona, Spain.
Young Presidents’ Organization is comprised of more than 17,000 presidents and chief executives who run some of the world’s largest corporations. Scheinberg has been actively involved in leading the organization whose aim is to become better leaders through education and exchanging ideas.
Goodwin College is an East Hartford nonprofit school with about 2,500 students from diverse backgrounds. Scheinberg donated the school to the community in 2002.
