Goodrich Corp., which has operations in Connecticut, will shutter a Cleveland landing gear plant next year, putting 400 workers out of a job, The Dayton Business Journal reports.
Goodrich said the work will be moved to other similar plants, which include operations in Texas, Tennessee, Washington and Canada, the paper reported Thursday on its Web site.
It also has plants in West Hartford and Danbury.
The company said program volume had declined and not enough new work was coming in to cost-effectively fill available capacity.
Charlotte-based Goodrich is a global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industries.
