The New England Air Museum has received a $10,000 grant from The Goodrich Foundation in continued support of the museum’s SOAR for Science educational outreach program for the fourth grade students in Vernon. SOAR for Science is a unique proprietary education program that aligns with Connecticut’s mandated science curriculum regarding “forces and motion.” This hands-on inquiry-based program gives students the opportunity to meet state-mandated grade-level learning expectations in a stimulating fun environment.
