Esther Gonzalez-Torres and Elise Schreier have joined the board of directors at InterCommunity Health Care, a nonprofit healthcare organization providing primary care, mental health care and addiction recovery services in the Hartford area.
Gonzalez-Torres received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Connecticut, and has worked at Youth Challenge for the past 17 years. Schreier works at Travelers Cos. in Hartford, heading a claims department. Her background is in law and risk management, and she is experienced in medical malpractice claims and liability.Â
