Gonzalez, Campbell BlumShapiro partners

BlumShapiro named certified public accountants Christine P. Gonzalez and Mark S. Campbell partners at the West Hartford regional accounting and consulting firm.

Gonzalez is a tax partner, specializing in advising private middle-market firms and their owners.

The Bridgeport resident received a BA in accounting from Sacred Heart University and an MS in Taxation from Fairfield University. She was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 2000.

Gonzalez is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society and is on the board of FSW (formerly Family Services Woodfield). She is also a volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Campbell is a partner in BlumShapiro’s litigation services and business valuation group

Prior to joining BlumShapiro in 2007, Campbell was vice president at Knox & Co., an investment banking and corporate advisory firm in Westport. Before Knox, Campbell was a senior tax consultant with Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Campbell received a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1992, majoring in accounting. He his law and master’s degrees from Pace University in 1997 and 2002, respectively.

The Darien resident is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut and Fairfield Bar Associations and is on the board of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and Stepping Stones Museum for Children.
