Richard A. Gonzalez has been appointed to an assistant professor of medical services at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. Gonzalez is responsible for teaching human gross anatomy and medical anthropology and coordinating the school’s medical humanities concentration. Gonzalez, a North Haven resident, holds a doctorate in anthropology and a master’s degree in social science interdisciplinary studies, both from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Gonzalez is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the American Association of Physical Anthropologists and the American Association of Anatomists.
