High-speed internet provider GoNetspeed has officially debuted a new Berlin facility that will serve as its primary command center for locally based construction, HR and field tech teams.
About 50 people work at the center located at 24 New Park Dr., the company said.
GoNetspeed officially opened its doors in Berlin in 2021, but the grand opening was held this week due to pandemic-related delays.
GoNetspeed provides high-speed 100% fiber internet and has been steadily growing its Connecticut footprint in recent years. The company said it has thousands of individual and business customers in the state serving much of central Connecticut.
GoNetspeed, which is backed by New York City private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners, also serves customers in Maine, Alabama, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and West Virginia.
