A business that provides immersive indoor golf experiences has opened its newest location in Stamford.
Golf Lounge 18 LLC’s 9,300-square-foot facility is on the ground floor of Atlantic Station at 355 Atlantic St., in the city’s downtown.
Golf Lounge says it provides a “competitive socializing experience” with seasonal leagues, tournaments and memberships for golfers. The facility has 11 Trackman golf simulators along with a full bar and kitchen.
“As one of the trendiest areas in the state, we are thrilled to bring Golf Lounge 18 to Stamford’s downtown area,” said Ajit Padda, president and CEO of the company. “Stamford is such a vibrant city to work and play, the city is the ideal destination for our newest venture.”
Golf Lounge, founded in 2018, has nine locations in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts, and is growing.
It’s offering “a turnkey franchising model” and is currently developing new venues in Lake Grove and New Rochelle, both in New York.
According to an announcement from Golf Lounge, the market for off-course golf entertainment is in its infancy and growing nationwide.
Golf Lounge also has Connecticut locations in Canton, Danbury, Fairfield, Orange and South Windsor.
