Golf Lounge 18, a massive 12,000-square-foot indoor golfing facility, has opened at the Shops at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor.
The facility has 11 bays with TrackMan iO technology golf simulators. It features a full restaurant and bar, and is the second-largest indoor golf facility in the Greater Hartford area, according to an announcement.
Golf Lounge 18’s simulators give golfers the experience of playing at more than 300 courses from around the world.
“The addition of Golf Lounge 18 is just the latest in our transformational plans to bring the best in entertainment and dining options to the Shops at Evergreen Walk,” said Paul Brandes, principal of Brand Street Properties, which owns the outdoor shopping center. “And with the additional recent openings of Whole Foods, Blue Mercury and Deka Lash, this is an exciting time for the shopping center overall.”
Golf Lounge 18 opened to the public this week and is located next to The Green area at Evergreen Walk.
A ribbon-cutting is set for 11 a.m. Saturday. After that, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Golf Lounge 18 is hosting a grand opening party featuring live music by Ali Kat acoustic, golf contests for prizes, and a free two-month membership giveaway.
Golf Lounge 18 has seven other locations, including Danbury, Fairfield, Canton and Orange, along with two in Massachusetts, in Peabody and Braintree, and one in Westchester, New York.
The address is 401 Evergreen Way in South Windsor. Golf Lounge 18’s hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
