Golf Club of Avon exec named new leader of Hartford’s Town and County Club 

The Town & County Club in Hartford, a private women’s club located in the city’s Asylum Hill neighborhood, has a new leader 

Kimberly Pérez has taken over as club manager effective Jan. 22.  

In this role, Pérez serves as the chief executive of the Town & County Club, overseeing all club activities, including business operations and personnel.

In addition to being a membership organization, the Town & County Club, located at 22 Woodland St., is an events space that hosts weddings, corporate meetings and other private gatherings. Its “Clubhouse” also offers five guest rooms to members, sponsored guests and members of reciprocal clubs.

Prior to taking on this role, Perez worked for over 19 years at the Golf Club of Avon in a variety of roles, most recently as its chief financial officer and chief operating officer.  

Perez, an Avon resident, is a Connecticut native who earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and her master’s in professional accounting from the University of Hartford.  

In its most recently available 990 tax form, which covered the fiscal year that ran from April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023, the Town & County Club reported $757,943 in revenue and a deficit of $­188,058. It also reported $1.8 million in assets.
