Gene Goddard has joined the MetroHartford Alliance, which promotes economic development in the Greater Hartford region, as chief business investment officer.
Goddard most recently worked as senior vice president and consultant, housing and senior VP/consultant, economic development for Springsted, a municipal advisory firm in St. Paul, Minn. He has about 28 years of economic-development experience at the local, regional and state level.
