A global energy management and industrial automation company has opened a new all-electric facility in North Haven, which will be home to more than half of its Connecticut employees.
Schneider Electric Service’s new $15 million Connecticut headquarters at 60 Dodge Ave., features retrofitted electrical infrastructure equipment that was created with digital, environmentally friendly technology.
The 90,000-square-foot facility has an on-site microgrid, electrical distribution infrastructure, and automation technology designed to improve energy efficiency, company officials said ahead of a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning.

Connecticut is home to more than 100 Schneider Electric employees, and the company has offices, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers around the country with more than 20,000 employees.
