A 90,000-square-foot Glastonbury office building housing court-support offices for the state’s Judicial Branch and other tenants has sold for $12.2 million, the Windsor buyer says.
Capstone Properties LLC bought the fully-tenanted building at 455 Winding Brook Dr. from Winding Road LLC, its second Glastonbury commercial-property deal in as many months. Details of the 455 Winding Brook deal emerged only recently.
As previously reported, in June, Capstone said that Smith Brothers Insurance sold its 29,000-square-foot headquarters at 68 National Dr. to Capstone in a $2.6 million sale-leaseback.
Capstone Principal Mark Siegal said his company “likes Glastonbury’’ and that both purchases suit its portfolio. Siegal added that his company is constantly seeking other properties, including in and around downtown Hartford.
Capstone owns and operates other central Connecticut office properties.
