Glastonbury veterinary firm Beckett & Associates received the Northeast Energy Efficiency Council Connecticut Chapter’s Environmental Stewardship Award on Wednesday for demonstrating leadership in the business community and significantly reducing their energy consumption.
Beckett & Associates was able to reduce their electricity and natural gas consumptions through the participation in the Small Business Energy Advantage (SBEA) program, which helped pay for lighting upgrades.
SBEA is funded through a charge on ratepayer utility bills and administered by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund.
The Northeast Energy Efficiency Council Connecticut Chapter is a business association of the energy efficiency industry, formed to help member companies grow and support business opportunities for efficiency companies.
