Giving Circle Helps Local Groups

The Hartford Club Women’s Giving Circle presented two area groups with financial awards to help women and children in the Greater Hartford area. The first place award was presented to the Charter Oak Cultural Center Fork in the Road program, proposed to help 50 women finish their education. The second place winner was the Immaculate Conception Shelter and Housing’s “Ladies Locker” program to help 32 women between the ages of 35 and 50 with basic living necessities.
