A German company has acquired Tolland IT firm OpenSky, the companies announced.
TUV Rheinland, which has operations in Newtown and Boxborough, Mass., said OpenSky will continue to operate as a separate business unit under the same management team.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
TUV said the deal nearly doubles the size of its IT business, to 270 employees. TUV is an international provider of testing, inspection and certification services, with operations in 65 countries and $2 billion in annual revenue.
