South Windsor-based Gerber Scientific Inc. reported third quarter revenues fell 21 percent to $120.1 million from $152 million a year ago.
The manufacturer of provides automated machinery and software to the graphics, apparel and other markets, reported core business dropped 28.9 percent, including the effects of currency fluctations, which decreased revenue 7.7 percent.
In October, Gerber acquired Ontario-based laser maker Virtek Vision International Inc. Gerber said acquisitions completed in the current fiscal year increased reported revenues by 7.9 percent.
At 11 a.m., Gerber traded at $2.09, down 56 cents, or 21.1 percent.
