GENGRAS AIDS TORNADO RELIEF

The employees of Gengras Motor Cars, based in East Hartford, collected and donated $3,300.00 to the American Red Cross Pioneer Valley Chapter which services the Springfield area for help with recovery from the June 1 tornado that ripped through Springfield, Mass. The Gengras BMW car store, BMW of West Springfield, is located less than one mile from where the tornado touched down. Although the store was not damaged and the 42 employees who work at BMW of West Springfield were not affected by the tornado, the BMW employees felt an obligation to pitch in and help out by raising $1,650.00 and then Gengras Motor Cars matched the employee gift dollar- for-dollar for a total donation $3,300. Gengras Motor Cars has six car dealerships throughout the greater Hartford area and have 340 employees.
