Gaylord appoints new human resources VP 

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare in Wallingford has named Mitch Podob as its vice president of human resources.

Podob replaces Wally Harper, who is retiring. In his new position, Podob will lead all aspects of human resources management at the nonprofit rehabilitation-focused healthcare system. 

Podob, an Easton resident, is the former global director of human resources, Americas, at CooperSurgical Inc.

Podob also has led human resource functions at companies including Swarovski, Timex Group, Cotiviti Corporation and Daymon Worldwide, Inc.

Better Rhodes announces new members of executive team

Better Rhodes, a Madison company and distributor of nonalcoholic wine, beer and spirits, has hired new team members.

Warren Hode is the new director of product innovation and trade development, responsible for growing the company’s national and regional wholesale accounts. 

Taylor Foxman has joined as director of strategy and corporate development, responsible for supporting investment discussions, public relations, new channel development and new producer innovation.

Mike Votto is now an advisor for product selection and distribution.
