Bradford K. Gallagher has been named chairman of the Board of Trustees at Commonfund, an investment management firm based in Wilton.
Gallagher has been member of the Commonfund board since 2005 and is most recently founder and president of Spyglass Investments LLC.
He succeeds Laurance (Laurie) R. Hoagland, who has retired from its board after serving a 12-year term. Commonfund also announced the retirement of Charles J. (“Jeff”) Pippin from its board, also after serving a term of 12 years.
Founded in 1971, Commonfund is an institutional investment firm serving nonprofit institutions, pension funds and other institutional investors. Directly or through its subsidiaries, Commonfund Capital and Commonfund Asset Management Co., Commonfund manages $25 billion for 1,500 clients.
