FUNERAL DIRECTORS HONORED

The Connecticut Society of Association Executives presented its Community Service Award to the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association for spearheading an innovative partnership with the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs and the Missing in America Project that established the nation’s first protocol to identify unclaimed cremated remains of U.S. veterans in funeral homes and then provide them with military burials.
