Stamford’s Frontier Communications, which expects to acquire AT&T’s Connecticut landline and video businesses this year, said it has signed union contracts in four of its western states.
The deals with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, which expire in 2017, include wage increases, a new medical plan and other provisions.
The wage increases are retroactive to May 2013.
Frontier has said it would honor AT&T’s union contracts in Connecticut until April 2018.
