Frontier Airlines has started nonstop flights from Bradley International Airport to Puerto Rico, airport officials said.
The new nonstop service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, will operate year-round, three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, according to the Connecticut Airport Authority. The inaugural Frontier flight from Bradley to San Juan, departed Friday morning.
With the new flight, Frontier Airlines now offers nonstop service from Bradley to seven destinations, including Atlanta, Denver, Miami, Orlando and Raleigh-Durham.
Frontier Airlines is also set to launch service to Cancun in March. The airline has been operating at Bradley International Airport since 2018.
