Nixs Hartford, a seafood-focused restaurant and lounge, said it’s set to open by the end of July on Front Street.
The 180-seat restaurant, which is in the process of hiring 40 people, will be open weekdays for lunch, happy hour and dinner. On weekends, it will open at 4 p.m. Nixs said it will feature live bands, DJs and other entertainment on Saturday nights.
A private dining room will allow it to host business events and other functions for up to 250 people.
Nixs is owned by The Bostonian Hospitality Group. There are four other Nixs locations in Massachusetts.
